Testimonies

I want to thank God for healing my niece who was in a coma. God is bringing her back. She’s doing things the doctors claimed she would never do again. We are still believing God for a full recovery. She has four small children to love and raise. Continue to pray for us. -Betty

My testimony is that one Saturday I volunteered to help clean Sweet Holy Spirit Church. As I cleaned the podium that sits in the pulpit, the Lord spoke to my spirit and said, “Sold out for Jesus.” Then, I began to hear Him say, “I’m not coming off the wall until my labor is through,” just like Nehemiah. I’m grateful to say that I have been faithful in the things that God has given me to do, and I’m joyful to report that the Lord has blessed me with my own business…Pat Boone Cleaning Service! --Pat

My testimony is that in December, 1993 my drug addiction cost me my family. I had 4 children at the time and numerous relationships. I was incarcerated also. Since coming to this church, the Lord has truly blessed me! I’m now married to a wonderful man (Donald). We own a beautiful home, and we have our own 24-hour business. I’m an active choir member. I have been off drugs and alcohol for over 10 years. The best part of my testimony is that God has given me the chance to regain custody of my 4 children! --Shantaile

In May, 2004 I rented a home in Evergreen Park. A month later, I was given an eviction notice. I stayed with friends, family, and in a hotel. What made matters worse, the trucking company that I managed was suspended from Chicago’s hired truck program. My car was repossessed, too. But the Lord blessed me to get another home and the company I manage was offered a contract to work on the I-94/Dan Ryan project. The city of Chicago hired my heavy-duty vehicle back to work, and my daddy bought me a car. God is good. --S. Pea
